PwC sees Business Continuity Management as a cornerstone of Risk Management. We also believe the effectiveness of a Crisis Management capability may well determine whether an organisation is able to survive a crisis.

Our business continuity management team understands that at the heart of business continuity is the good practice captured in BS25999 and ISO 22301. Our approach and experience has led us to realise that on occasions, fit for purpose capability plans go beyond these standards. For a company to have confidence in their BCM plans, arrangements need to be integrated into the wider risk environment.

We take business continuity management seriously ourselves and have invested in our own comprehensive internal business continuity programme which has been independently certified to BS 25999-2:2007 across all of our UK locations. PwC's globally networked business, means we are able to bring a wide variety of Risk Management experts to the table, to add additional insight and value to our clients Business Continuity needs.
